Black River Bridge – County Road 13
South Marysburgh Town Hall

3076 County Road 10, Milford

Don’t miss this County sponsored information session about rehabilitation of the Black River Bridge. I will be there to see the options being proposed to ensure that the needs of South Marysburgh residents are looked after.

Black River Bridge Rehabilitation

The County of Prince Edward is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for the rehabilitation of the Black River Bridge, located on County Road 13, approximately 100m south of Morrison Point Road over the Black River.

Background

The project has become a priority for The County due to the bridge’s deteriorated condition. As part of the environmental assessment process, options for the bridge rehabilitation are being reviewed.

Have Your Say

A public information centre is being held to provide information on the alternative solutions, and to receive input and comments from interested persons. Public comments are encouraged.

The public information centre will follow a drop-in format with displays showing the evaluation of alternatives. Staff from The County and the project lead consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and receive comments

Short-term Accommodations

Don’t miss this special meeting of Council’s Committee of the Whole which will look at the Short Term Accommodation (Airbnb) issue.

I will be making a deputation to put forward some ideas on how to resolve the problem.  Mayor Robert Quaiff has called a special Committee of the Whole meeting for the purpose of receiving a presentation and reviewing draft recommendations for regulating short-term accommodations in The County.  No decisions will be made at this meeting.

Have your say:  The special meeting will include a 30-minute session when the public can ask questions or offer comments about the proposed regulations.
